CULT SINGAPORE. Explore our local design guide
With the opening of our new Cult Singapore showroom in the heart of the buzzing Chinatown Club Street district, here we share our favourite local spots for eating, drinking, shopping and design.
Eating & Drinking.
Le Bon Funk // A great cosy spot on the same bustling street as our Cult Singapore showroom with a passion for natural wines and amazing produce.
Maxi Coffee Bar // A high energy, quirky coffee bar at 6 Ann Siang Hill. Small and bustling with delicious coffee.
Nemesis // A modern dive bar bringing a wild streak to the quaint cobblestone streets of Duxton Hill. A drinking lair for charlatans and vandals to imbibe. Semi-healthy, mostly naughty; this is the spot for your medium-guilt cheat day. Designed by Wynk Collaborative, the interior fit-out features the HAY Result chair and Revolver barstools from Cult Singapore.
Restaurant Zen // Zén is the sister restaurant to Frantzén in Stockholm and holds three stars in Guide Michelin. The tasting menu is carefully curated and based on both local and world-class delicacies. Guests can expect the finest ingredients sourced from the region and beyond. The gastronomic experience spans three floors in a classic shophouse building in downtown Singapore. The interior fit-out includes the &Tradition Loafer armchair and sofas from Cult Singapore.
Plain Vanilla // A series of popular bakery cafes. The most recent opening is Plain Vanilla East Coast (pictured). Designed by Produce, the interior features a mix of casual seating and alfresco lounging, plus a children’s playpen and pet-friendly area, featuring HAY Soft Edge 10 chairs and AAS 32 stool, plus &Tradition In Between SK24 coffee table, Flowerpot VP1 lights, Copenhagen SC14 floor lamp and Journey SHY2 wall light, all from Cult Singapore. The nearest Plain Vanilla branch to the Cult Singapore showroom is on Telok Ayer Street.
