A celebration of String Furniture's 75th Anniversary

On Tuesday 20th of August, we had the pleasure of celebrating the 75th Anniversary of String Furniture at our Cult Singapore showroom.

Guests enjoyed delicious food, provided by Overbrød and a range of refreshing drinks. Plus a lucky guest won our Lucky Draw Prize: a coveted 75th Anniversary limited edition String Pocket.

Guests enjoyed refreshments from Overbrød, specialising in delicious Smørrebrød, and mingled amongst Cult Design's stylish and colourful furniture, lighing and homeware. Thank you to everyone who came out to join us, it was such a memorable evening!

Designed by Nisse and Kajsa Strinning, the iconic String shelf won its first design award in 1949. To celebrate its 75th anniversary, String is now presenting a limited anniversary edition of the shelf, in the same design as the very first shelf.
