Jørgen Kastholm & Preben Juhl Fabricius were Danish architects whose work influenced the signature style of Danish Modernism. &Tradition’s relaunch of the P376 pendant lamp honours their original design from 1963. Comprising five concentric shades which gently curve towards the centre to emit a soft, diffused light, the lamp is available in either aluminium or aluminium with a white lacquer underside and in two sizes; KF1 has a diameter of 47.5cm and KF2 of 70 cm.

Jørgen Kastholm (1931-2007) and Preben Juhl Fabricius (1931-1984) were driven by a mutual mission to make form a pure derivative of function. Both were architects and graduated from the Danish School of Interior Design, where they studied under Finn Juhl and subsequently with Arne Jacobsen. Although they partnered for less than a decade, creating only a handful of designs, Kastholm & Fabricius left a legacy of work honoured in museums around the world — from the Museu de Arte in São Paulo to MoMA in New York and the Musée d`Art Moderne in Paris.
